Lenn Doran
President
Lenn Doran joined Akmaaq in early 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. In March of 2010 he was appointed President of NANA Pacific. Lenn is a very skilled and experienced senior management executive with a strong background and leadership in operations, finance, human resources, information technology and contracting. Lenn’s background over the last 30 years includes the airline industry, oil and gas drilling, construction machinery, and the apparel industry.
As President, Lenn leads the strategy, execution, and daily operation of NANA Pacific’s various contracts with government agencies and other large organizations. He has extensive experience over the past 10 years as Chief Financial Officer for both Sitnasuak Native Corporation and Tyonek Native Corporation, as well as Sunrise Identity, Inc. Prior to that, Lenn was Vice President and Controller for Construction Machinery, Inc., and was a Captain in the United States Air Force for eight years. Lenn holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts (Accounting) from the University of Washington.
Lenn is married and has one child, and in his spare time enjoys photography and is a member of the Alaska Society of Outdoor Nature Photographers (ASNOP).
Wayne Ashcroft
Vice President, Operations
Wayne Ashcroft has more than 30 years of successful leadership and management experience across a broad spectrum of military and business functional areas. After a successful career with the Army, Wayne transitioned into the corporate world and worked his way up into positions with increasing responsibility such as Executive Level General and Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and Vice President. Wayne was also the President of a native-owned company, leading it through successful transition from the 8(a) program to full and open status. His broad experience developed his deep understanding of government contract management, program management, business development, change management, and business and financial leadership that he now brings to his role at NANA Pacific. Wayne’s expertise in the professional services industry includes a wide array of business areas such as: logistics; information technology; program management; and administrative services. He has exceptionally strong credentials in force management; organizational design and development; security, anti-terrorism and force protection.
Scott Cornett
Director
Kentucky Operations
Mr. Cornett has 22 years experience in purchasing, materials management, and management positions. He has worked at the NGB Consequence Management Support Center in Lexington, Kentucky since 2005. He coordinated the transfer of the Purchasing Office from the prior contractor to NANA Pacific. He has extensive knowledge of FARs, the ability to organize and manage large amounts of information from a variety of sources, and long term personnel management experience. He was responsible for establishing the successful procurement program that meets the GSA requirements for day-to-day and periodic tracking and reporting. Mr. Cornett has extensive knowledge of overall operations at the NGB Consequence Management Support Center. He was instrumental in creating and implementing the purchasing policies, practices, and procedures manual to assure all support center personnel engaged in purchase requisition, subcontracting or purchase order processes remain in compliance with each specific contract or purchase.
