NANA Pacific is providing construction management services for the infrastructure addition and foundation for a new antenna and Randome cover for a Defense Satellite Communication System (DSCS) building at Ft. Greely, Alaska.
The DSCS supports the U.S. Missile Defense System. The work being performed by NANA Pacific will replace the temporary antenna in order to install a second permanent antenna next year. In addition, a vestibule will be added between the existing DSCS building and the stand-by power generation building next door; as well as installation of an innerduct system in an existing utilidor. This interdict will provide the path for a fiber-optic inter-tie between the DSCS building and the IDT#2 facility over a mile away.
